The Grand Source Foundation for education & development was started out of a necessity to help the children of Grand Source. The founders of the organization all hail from the region, so we all experienced the same conditions and lack of resource that continue today. Our mission is to help the current and future children in the Grand Source by:
Building adequate schools so the children can have a place of learning that they can look forward to.
Filling their schools with new & updated books.
Feeding the children two meals daily so that they may have the vigor & energy to learn.
Continuing education for teachers, so the children can benefit from the newest and most innovative teaching methods.
Donate school supplies & clothing to each child.
With your help we can make these things happen for the children of Grand Source.
Materials for Learning
Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.
Continuing Education for Teachers
We help create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Support for the Community
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
